International Students
International students are welcome in our Online M.A. Psychology program!
In order to assure a successful experience, English language proficiency is required for all international students. All international applicants whose home country does not have English as an official language must submit one of the following as an initial entrance requirement:
1. Official TOEFL score. Minimum requirement is 520 on the written version or 212 on the computer version.
2. Official Michigan Test score. Minimum requirement is 80.
Applicants are advised to contact the World Education Service at www.wes.org if their previous academic work has not been completed at an American institution. This process will verify accreditation, and may take between 4-6 weeks.
The applicant should also provide official English translations of any letters of recommendation, or other materials submitted in the application process. Any translations must be original documents bearing the signature and seal of the translator or agency, and they must be literal translations, not summaries or interpretations of the original documents.
